94 Year Old Proud Dad

Ramajit Raghav, a landless Labour from a small town, Kharkhoda in  Harayana, said that he had become a proud father of a son. The Haryana government’s old-age pension records show that Ramajit is 94 years old. His wife Shakuntala who bore him the child is claimed to be in her mid fifties. The child was born in the government hospital of the town. Doctors at the hospital said that the child was delivered normally and was in good health.The couple termed their child’s birth as a “God’s Gift” and named him Karamjit…………………………Allah-Meherban-To-Gadha-Pehalwan

The previous record holder  90 year old Nanu Ram Jogi of a Rajasthan had fathered his 22nd child at the age of 90 in 2007 

When asked about the secret behind his long life, Raghav said that he had been a wrestler in his youth and his daily diet comprised of Three kgsMilk, Half a kg Almonds and Half a kg Ghee……hmmm Very very healthy….. isn’t he…

When asked  to Docotrs….whether it was possible for a 94-year-old man to father a child, a medical officer said that though it could not be ruled out, but it was a remote possibility.

Guys…now we know what to dooooo……to be “VERY” fit even at the age of 94…na 93…..Come on go on this Diet….lets see the result…may be after 60-70 year….. GOD BLESS U ALL….May you all get the desired result(s)…..

World’s Best Impersonator—The LYREBIRD

Australia’s Lyrebird has been around for millions of years,  fossils having been found dated to 15 million years ago….This Amazing Australian Bird can be found in forest of Victoria and New South Wales.A Lyrebird is  ground-dwelling bird, most notable for their superb ability to MIMIC natural and artificial sounds from their environment. Lyrebirds have unique plumes of neutral coloured tailfeathers.Lyrebirds are among Australia’s best-known native birds. As well as their extraordinary mimicking ability, Lyrebirds are notable because of the striking beauty of the male bird’s huge tail when it is fanned out in display; and also because of their courtship display.

There are two different species of Lyrebirds,Superb Lyrebird and Albert’s Lyrebird.   Albert’s Lyrebird is a little bit smaller than Superb Lyrebirds and can be found in Southern Queensland.  This bird was given it’s name in honor of Queen Victoria’s husband Prince Albert.

Both Male and Female Lyrebirds look similar major difference between both is the two long feathers that the male Lyrebird has on his tail which he develops after he is two years old.  His tail consists of 16 feathers with two the two long outer feathers being broader to frame the tail………..phewww

Now coming to the best part…..The Lyrebird bird is the world’s best impersonator or the worlds best mimic.  It can mimic the sound and songs of other birds perfectly. IT has a unique feature , it is known to have imitated sounds of chainsaws, dogs barking, babies crying, musical instruments and explosions and even music affects of DJ’s….. Amazinggggggg

Now we all know where we have started to practice Mimicryyyyyyyy…..this is amazing creation of GOD…and Australian’s are really lucky and blessed to have this amazing bird in their backyard……

Every ones dream Car…Germany’s BMW launched its most affordable SUV X1 in india Yesterday…..This Cheapest SUV of BMW is comfortable priced at Rs 22,00,000/- to Rs 29,00,000/- only. available in two variants both Diesel and Petrol.

Petrol Version of X1 is BMW X1 sDrive 18i, will be available for Rs 22 lakh (ex-showroom).The petrol engine gives a power of 150 BHP with a torque of 200 Nm at 3600 rpm. petrol variant takes 10.4 seconds to reach 100 Kmp And will have six speed automatic gearbox.Rough extimated mileage is 11.24 KMPL.

 Diesel version will have two options, X1 sDrive 20d, priced at Rs 23,90,000/- and X1 sDrive 20d Exclusive priced at Rs 29,90,000/- only (ex-show room).The diesel engine gives a power of 177 BHP and torque of 350 Nm from 1750 to 3000 rpm.The diesel variant takes 8.3 seconds to attain a speed of 100 kmph and will have six speed automatic gearbox.Rough extimated mileage is 15.24 KMPL.

The Moon Walking Bird-Red Capped Manakin

Red Capped Manakin is a bird which is found in latin America….to be precise in Andes ranges.

This colorful, sparrow-sized South American birds, vibrating their wings at more than 100 cycles per second, twice the speed of hummingbirds. The bird uses this unprecedented feat not for fight or flight, but to impress females with its Violin like hum.

Found only in  western slopes of the Andes Mountains along the extreme northwest corner of Ecuador extending into Colombia, has adapted its wings in this odd way due to sexual selection,the sound makes the male more ..very very attractive to females.

Manakins are lek-breeding birds, meaning that the males compete to mate, while the females raise the young. Since the males do not couple to raise young, a single male could inseminate all the local females. Therefore, competition for females among lek-breeding birds creates strong pressures for sexual selection.They have distinct mating call, but unlike other birds, the sound doesn’t come from their mouths. It’s actually the sound of their wing tips running together………

Now coming to the most interesting topic…or why i did this posting in vedamsgyan……The Red-capped Manakin males are well known for performing incredibly fast dances to encourage females to mate with them…..and they probably the ONLY birds to DO what we all know as MOON WALKING…..yes u are reading it correct MJ’s Moon Walking….. this pracatilly not possible to see with our eyes..this was discovered using 1,000 frames a second for high-speed industrial process high resolution cameras….they really do the slides……..u will be amazed….. i was when i saw this…..and all the credit goes to Kimberly Bostwick………who made us  see this amazing feat…and made us talk about this bird and know about this bird.

Superfetation-An Interesting Phenomenon

Did you ever come across the “Superfetation“.

Superfetation…..let me put it simple terms the mothers will develop a second pregnancy a few days before delivering their first…. sounds interesting..shocking..and amazing.Superfetation is claimed to be common in some species of animals, but is extremely rare in humans…Risk is that the second baby is often born prematurely, which can increase its odds of experiencing lung development problems.

Some very Rare cases

In 1992, Taylor and Evan Barth, conceived 4 weeks apart, were born in Hawaii, USA to Michelle and John Barth. Taylor, the one conceived later, was born first.

In 2007, Ame and Lia Herrity, conceived 3 weeks apart, were born in the United Kingdom to Amelia Spence and George Herrity.

In May 2007, Harriet and Thomas Mullineux, also conceived 3 weeks apart, were born in Benfleet, Essex, UK to Charlotte and Matt Mullineux.

In 2009, Todd and Julia Grovenburg of Fort Smith, Arkansas received international media attention for Mrs. Grovenburg’s conception of an additional child while already pregnant with a child conceived two and a half weeks earlier.

Now In Animals…….

Animals that have been claimed to be subject to superfetation include rodents,mice,horses, sheeps and kangaroos…and some fishes..

Now what amazes is that in a recent study European brown hares are capable of being pregnant twice at the same time, and can potentially be permanently pregnant……yeah thats true…

Dr Kathleen Roellig…who led this study said…We think superfetation might be an evolutionary adaptation to increase reproductive success.

I remember a joke in one of a movie..where it says that he is not my twin, but born 1 month later….it was joke….but It is reality…

How ever technology we have got..and how much ever research we do..there are plenty of things which we we humans don’t understand and know….so thats what is “GOD”….or the SUPREME BEING….

Voyager 1 reaches the END of Solar System

Nasa’s Voyager 1 reaches heliosheath–the turbulent outer shell of the sun’s influence after 33 long years and after traveling 17.4 Billion Kilometers. Launced in the year 1977 sep 5th it took this lonely traveler 33 years to reach a distant point at the edge of our solar system where there is no outward motion of solar wind. The event is a major milestone in Voyager 1’s passage through the heliosheath, the turbulent outer shell of the sun’s sphere of influence, and the spacecraft’s upcoming departure from our solar system.

A similar kind of spacecraft called Voyager 2, was launched in Aug. 20, 1977 and has reached a position 14.2 billion kilometers (8.8 billion miles) from the sun. Both spacecraft have been traveling along different trajectories and at different speeds.Voyager 1 is traveling  at a speed of about 17 kilometers per second (38,000 mph). Voyager 2′ travels at a speed of 15 kilometers per second (35,000 mph).

Guys isnt this amazing……..we are gonna see the StarWars kind of thing in comming years…or the Star Treck kind of thing….we talking and going to different Worlds…the thought itself is awesome….may be i will not be albe to see that..my children..definetly grand children would see this. KUDOS….
