Life and Blog

Posted: April 27, 2011 in Me, My Take

Hi all, I have been blogging from july last year….and has enjoyed every moment and every single post..every single comment…and research and the time involved to write this blogs.

Many of the “Esteemed” visitors of my blog spoke that my blogs are good…its was really nice of them…and many liked the humor and wittiness in the blogs. Hmmm I am and always believed that there has to be humor in every aspect of our so called dull “Life”…we are always serious and try act that we don’t like to talk and have fun…If some one is humorous..does it make him less credible. Does being jovial makes any one,not serious about life….I have always been on the other side of firing….but I enjoy every bit of the things I do…and yes..ups and downs…highs and lows…they are always there…still I enjoy….Living the life to the fullest.

Come on….I know I am boring….enjoy ur life pple….try to take the maximum out of it. Live and let live. And most imp….plz plz do try to respect others and don’t take anyone and and thing for granted.

When I first had the though of blog…I wanted the name to be unique…VEDAMSGYAN….isn’t it. And I never though I enjoy writing and blogging so much. And later this became a habit…or addiction….and now every day due to my work I am not able to write/blog every day. Now I am able to write the blog from mobile…which never ever I thought I would be able to do….Hope the saga continues with the help of my mobile.

And thanking every single Visitor of Vedamsgyan for making this what it is.

Athidi Devo Bhava…

It has been almost all 15 days since i posted any thing…work..work…so couldn’t do… But after seeing this i thought i can take some time and post…Thanx to Srikanth Gudavaram for sharing this info with me… Sriku….u rock man.

The world’s biggest family:The man with 39 wives, 94 children, 14¬†Daughter¬†In laws and 33 grandchildren. The Man here is Mr Ziona Chana.

Chana hailes from a small village called Baktwang in the Stae of Mizoram (India)…it happens only in India.

He lives in a 100 room 4¬†stored¬†mansion…………And his house is the biggest Concrete structure in his village.

Check him with his 181 family members

181 family members photo

Now check his 100 room mansion……which is no less than any so called Star hotel (with 100% occupancy)

100 Room, 4 stored Mansion

Evening meal of this Worlds Largest family¬†consist¬†of 30 Chickens, 60 Kgs of Potatoes and almost 100 Kgs of Rice……….wooopppppss

Dinner time.....

Mr Chana told the Sun: ‘Today I feel like God’s special child. He’s given me so many people to look after.

‘I consider myself a lucky man to be the husband of 39 women and head of the world’s largest family.’

The family is organised with almost military discipline, with the oldest wife Zathiangi organising her fellow partners to perform household chores such as cleaning, washing and preparing meals.

And the best part is Mr Chana is heads a sect that allows members to take as many wives as he wants……..hmmmm nice sect and lucky people.

Mr Chana, whose religious sect has 4,00 members, says he has not stopped looking for new wives. He said “To expand my sect, I am willing to go even to the U.S. to marry”……..America…..watch…Super husband is comminggggggggggggggg……..

He even married ten women in one year, when he was at his most prolific, and enjoys his own double bed while his wives have to make do with communal dormitories.

Now this is the best part………..He keeps the youngest women near to his bedroom with the older members of the family sleeping further away – and there is a rotation system for who visits Mr Chana’s bedroom.

Rinkmini, one of Mr Chana’s wives who is 35 years old, said: ‘We stay around him as he is the most important person in the house. He is the most handsome person in the village.

Another of his wives, Huntharnghanki, said the entire family gets along well. The family system is reportedly based on ‘mutual love and respect’

39 Wives and still goinggggggg

Now will show you the shared bedroom….where the OLDER wives stay

Older Wives..place......

AB’s Stroke: First Congratulation to Mr Chana…..and one greatest Pride factor……..This Worlds Biggest Family is from India. And kudos to Chana….how can he manage 39 wives….when i…no …we….cant even manage One properly. Its easy to work under tough boss..but impossible to mange one single wive…..So he is the Greatest Man in the world. I can call him SUPER Man….Inspiration to men (Only men). Still we have so many sects which practice leave bigamy…polygamy…….I am no one to say its bad….but i personally feel this should not exist..we talk about equalities…how does our “MODERN¬†SOCIETY” react if this was done by any lady…..So say no to BIGAMY….POLYGAMY.

Wish every one become “EKA PATNI VARTHA” Which means ¬†“One Live-One Wife

From the year 1999…17th November UNESCO declared that February 21st is to be celebrated world-wide as International Mother Tongue Day. Do know that there are around 3000-6000¬†languages spoken in this world. And this is the most¬†pathetic¬†part¬†It is believed that 60% of around 6000 languages currently spoken in the world will have become extinct….

Mother tongue is so important in the upbringing and development of the child that the day was instituted in recognition of its value and for the promotion of its usage as an instrument for transmitting culture in the socialisation of the child…..This is day is not given due importance at alllllll by any¬†governmentssssss…………. Shame on them and Shame on us toooo

Do we Value our Mother Tongue……………I doubt………….except for few

Now the biggest and most widely asked question is……Whether to use the mother tongue or not ?????

Without any doubt we all need to accept the fact ¬†language is the epicenter of culture….religion….and even humanity…….. The mother tongue conveys and transmits culture. It is through the language that the folktales, ¬†similes, proverbs, ¬†and other literary forms of the society are conveyed to teach societal morals and values and eventually socialise the individual……There is¬†no greater injustice to mankind..or for people………….than to deprive them of their language ….Yes I do agree this¬†thought¬†very much….

As quoted by¬†Vigdis Finnbogadottir, UNESCO‚Äôs Goodwill Ambassador for Languages and Former President of Iceland¬†“Everyone loses if one language is lost because then a nation and culture lose their memory, and so does the complex tapestry form which the world is woven and which makes the world an exciting place”

Do you know which is the Killer….English is the Great killer language because the corporate world uses it….and world uses it…media uses it……… No..i am not against English….I love the Language English….But wnat people also to love thier respective¬†languages….which we dont….

I have been seeing incidents in Televisions…where a child was beaten blue by their,¬†respective¬†Schools for talking in¬†their¬†Mother tongue…and made to write statements like i will not talk in XXXXX language… I say that you can love some thing..but for the sake of loving some thing..dont hate other…. This is what is¬†happening….Love for ENGLISH…is making people¬†neglect¬†their¬†mother tongue…and slowly start hating it….as people feel that there is no use of it all in¬†their¬†life..

Govt’s make people study thier mother tongue till thier 5th calss or some place till their 7th class..ot some where till their 10th class….after that….we will never be using it. Yes I am the classic case….stopped writing my Mother tongue in the 10th class….though i can read….i am finding it difficult in WRITING the language….i know most of the people agree this…And more…My cousins kid’s study in a big International school….and they talk to me that they second language is French..third is German….why not our Language………Love your language too…..Plz

To add to this

In Australia, where nearly all the 231 spoken tongues are endangered, the researchers came upon three known speakers of Magati Ke in the Northern Territory, and three Yawuru speakers in Western Australia. And¬†researchers¬†met the sole speaker of Amurdag, a language in the Northern Territory that had been declared extinct….

Many of the 113 languages in the region from the Andes Mountains into the Amazon basin are poorly known and are giving way to Spanish or Portuguese, or in a few cases, a more dominant indigenous language. In this area, for example, a group known as the Kallawaya use Spanish or Quechua in daily life, but also have a secret tongue mainly for preserving knowledge of medicinal plants, some previously unknown to science.English threatens the survival of the 54 indigenous languages in the Northwest Pacific plateau, a region including British Columbia, Washington and Oregon. Only one person remains who knows Siletz Dee-ni, the last of many languages once spoken on a reservation in Oregon. In eastern Siberia, the researchers said, government policies have forced speakers of minority languages to use the national and regional languages, like Russian or Sakha. Forty languages are still spoken in Oklahoma, Texas and New Mexico, many of them originally used by Indian tribes and others introduced by Eastern tribes that were forced to resettle on reservations, mainly in Oklahoma.

This is a¬†shocker¬†Language in Alaska called Ear has become extinct because the last speaker died. According to the report, though the speaker, a woman, had eight children, they were not permitted to speak Ear but English….. thats the plight

It was very exhaustive post..lots of research involved for this………But it would be great if you make you¬†children speak and make them understand and Love your Mother Tongue……

AB’s Stroke: I am not a language fanatic at all… i love all languages….but i know the people from the other side…who love¬†their¬†own language..and show disrespect to other languages….That is more dangerous…..Love yours…but dont hate others…

A different language is a different vision of life.

No…I am not Joking…This is true…

In September 2008…..Chinese Shandong Airlines Flight CRJ7 carrying 7 Crew members and 69 passengers started from Guilin to Zhengzhou, traveled a distance of 500 miles. Everything¬†was going well…but the real trouble started when the plane broke down shortly after it landed…….Yeah….and you know what the plane had to be removed from the runway,……and the best part or the only way to do it was to have passengers and airport staff push it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes you have read Correctly….This Plane was to be pushed……..wowwwww

The herculean task of moving this 20-ton vehicle half a mile took the group nearly two hours!!!!!!!!! and the only solace to the passengers was that they were not the only people pushing it…airport staff to joined in the amazing and never to be done task…

And after pushing this¬†One worker was relieved that the plane wasn‚Äôt bigger. He was reported as saying, ‚ÄúThank God it was only a 20-ton, medium-size plane ‚Ķ If it were a big plane, it would have knocked us out…………hmmm mentally prepared..

Check the photographs

Plane Pushed by Passengers 4

Plane Pushed by Passengers 4

AB’s Stroke: Thank god…i was not in that plane…damm i cant push my car..leave car..cannt push my bike….Thats great excerise for all the passengers….need to find out what happened to that arilines..and how much popularity it got…..They can boast of some thing like….The only Airline…when can push the planes………Or Fly with us…we will make you push you to the LIMITS……. Pheww…Hope all the low cost…why low¬†cost..all the¬†airlines¬†need to seriously look into issues like this…i keep reading and hearing about some many..¬†small¬†but¬†definitely¬†incidents which make the¬†air travel¬†not so safe….these airlines..need to take care of passengers….not only thinking about the best route..or maximum¬†occupied¬†routeeeeeeeeee…so plz do take of us guysssss.

And for all the travellers………. Eat well before you board a Plane….you never know..when you need to push a Plane….

BOSS VS LEADER

Boss drives his people
Leader coaches them.

Boss depends on authority
Leader depends on good will.

Boss inspires fear
Leader inspires enthusiasm.

Boss says ‚ÄúI‚ÄĚ
Leader says ‚ÄúWe‚ÄĚ.

Boss says ‚Äúget here on time‚ÄĚ
Leader gets there ahead of time.

Boss fixes blame for the breakdown
Leader fixes the breakdown.

Boss knows how it is done
Leader shows how it is done.

Boss says ‚ÄúGo‚ÄĚ
Leader says ‚ÄúLet‚Äôs GO‚ÄĚ.

Boss uses people
Leader develops them.

Boss sees today
Leader also looks at tomorrow.

Boss commands
Leader asks.

Boss never has enough time
Leader makes time for things that count.

Boss is concerned with things
Leader is concerned with people.

Boss lets people know where he stands
Leader lets his people know where they stand.

Boss works hard to produce
Leader works hard to help his people produce.

Boss takes credit
Leader gives it.

Boss creates fear
Leader creates confidence

Boss knows how
Leader shows how

Boss fixes blame
Leader fixes mistakes

Boss drives
Leader leads

Boss relies on authority
Leader relies on cooperation

Bossism creates resentment
Leadership creates enthusiasm

Boss makes work drudgery
Leader makes it a game

And for a Boss to become a leader he should have 4 E’s :

1. Enthusiasm

2. Energy

3. Edge

4. Execution

What is important as a leader is not what your team does in your presence, it is what happens in your absence.

AB’s Stroke: Leader can be boss…but never a boss will be come a leader or mentor……Now dont ask me if i am a boss or a leader….its upto my team..and all the people who worked with me to decide…..Guys….if you write a negative comment..i am looking…and watching…..i always wanted team to take¬†initiatives, no matter what ever the result is, as this will make them part of¬†decision¬†making process…once you make mistake..twice you make mistake…but later you learn and never make…..so..that mean your team has¬†optimum¬†decision¬†makers…..wooooo thats what you call team….then you will become LEADER…..

Let me talk about Tea…or Chai as what we call it ….do you know that¬†After water, Tea is the most widely consumed beverage in the world.¬†It has a cooling, slightly bitter,¬†astringent¬†¬†flavour which many enjoy…There are at least six varieties of tea White Tea, Yellow Tea, Green Tea, Oolong Tea,¬†Black tea and post-fermented teas of which the most commonly found on the market are white, green, Olong, and black. Some varieties, such as traditional Oolong Tea¬†and Pu-erh Tea, a post-fermented tea, can be used medicinally.

Tea plants are native to East and South Asia and probably originated around the point of confluence of the lands of northeast India, north Burma, southwest China, and Tibet. Although tales exist in regards to the beginnings of tea being used as a beverage, no one is sure of its exact origins. The usage of tea as a beverage is first recorded in the Chinese classics Shennong Ben Cao Jing. It was already a common drink during Qin Dynasty (around 200 BC) and became widely popular during Tang Dynasty, when it was spread to Korea and Japan. Trade of tea by the Chinese to Western/European  nations in the 19th century spread tea and the tea plant to numerous locations around the world.

Now what are the benefits of Drinking Tea

Antioxidants effect. It is know that tea contains antioxidants, especially when we are talking about green tea. Antioxidant polyphenols activate the enzyme that is responsible for dissolving the excess of the triglyceride inside the human body. This means drinking tea is a good way for weight loss. Moreover, the antioxidants help the cells to repair and regenerate, slowing down the aging.

Anti-cancer effect. Many studies showed that green tea protects against lung, prostate and breast cancer. According to the Kyushu University, the antioxidant responsible of this it is called epigallocatechin gallate ( EGCG ) . Green tea can help prevent cancer and heart disease, reducing the risk of heart attack and stroke.

Tea may reduce your risk of heart attack and stroke. Unwanted blood clots formed from cholesterol and blood platelets cause heart attack and stroke. Drinking tea may help keep your arteries smooth and clog-free, the same way a drain keeps your bathroom pipes clear. A 5.6-year study from the Netherlands found a 70 percent lower risk of fatal heart attack in people who drank at least two to three cups of black tea daily compared to non-tea drinkers.

Tea keeps the human body hydrated. Beverages that contain caffeine dehydrates you and because of its low amount of caffeine, tea hydrates you providing in the same time the necessary amount of antioxidants.

Bones protection. Drinking tea regularly makes your bones stronger, has been discovered by scientist sustain that this might be caused by the presence of the phytochemicals in the tea.

Teeth protection. Tea contains fluoride and tannins which are responsible for reducing the plaque buildup and the tooth decay.

Lower blood pressure. Oolong tea and green tea can reduce the risk of high blood pressure 50% by only drinking half a cup daily.

Digestion. Tea is a very good and effective digestive used in China for thousands years now.

Stomach cramps. Red tea can act as an anti-spasmodic agent.

Bad breath Reduction. The antioxidant polyphenols found in tea keep under control the bacteria that causes bad breath.

Immune System. Tea drinkers have around 5 times the anti-bacterial proteins called T-cell which are helping the human body to fight against infections.

Tea is calorie-free. Tea itself has no calories unless you choose to add sweeteners or milk, making it a satisfying, low-cal way to wake up and maybe even shed a few pounds.

Tea increases your metabolism. Is a slow metabolic rate keeping you from losing the weight you want? Some studies suggest that green tea may be able to boost your metabolic rate slightly, allowing you to burn an additional 70-80 calories a day. While this may not seem like much, over time it could add up.

Tea helps keep your skin acne-free. The antioxidants in green tea may have an effect on acne, and in some cases have been shown to work as well as a 4% solution of the much more harsh benzoyl peroxide.

Tea has less caffeine than coffee. Coffee usually has two to three times the caffeine of tea (unless you’re a fan of Morning Thunder, which combines caffeine with mate, an herb that acts like caffeine in our body). An eight-ounce cup of coffee contains around 135 mg caffeine; tea contains only 30 to 40 mg per cup. If drinking coffee gives you the jitters, causes indigestion or headaches or interferes with sleep¬†—¬†switch to tea.

Tea can help prevent arthritis. Research suggests that older women who are tea drinkers are 60 percent less likely to develop rheumatoid arthritis than those who do not drink tea. The same effect has not been measured in older males, however, but additional studies may prove otherwise.

Tea can help fight the flu. Black tea may bolster your efforts to fight the flu as participants in a study who gargled with a black tea extract solution twice daily where more immune to the flu virus than those who didn’t.

Tea helps fight infection. Tea contains chemicals called alkylamine antigens which act similarly to some tumor cells and bacteria, boosting the body’s immune response. It has even been shown to have an effect on severe infections like sepsis.

Tea may reduce the risk of Parkinson’s Disease. New studies are suggesting that regular tea consumption may help protect the body from developing this neurological disorder.

Tea can prevent food poisoning. Catechin, one of the bitter ingredients found in green tea has been shown to effectively kill the bacteria which cause food poisoning and minimize the effects of the toxins that are produced by those bacteria.

Tea can lead to the inhibition of HIV. New research from the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology has found that a substance found in green tea may inhibit the HIV VIRUS from binding and can be a healthy part of a suppression regiment.

Tea may help prevent diabetes. There is some evidence to suggest that green tea helps lower the risk of getting Type 2 Diabetes, though future research is needed to confirm the association.

Tea can lower blood sugar. Tea contains catechin and polysaccharides which have been demonstrated to have a noticeable effect on lowering blood sugar.

Tea can prevent iron damage. Those suffering from iron disorders like haemochromatosis may be helped by drinking tea, which contains tannins that limit the amount of iron the body can absorb.

Tea can help with nasal decongestion. If you’ve got a bit of a cold, drinking black tea with lemon may help clear up some of the congestion that’s bothering you. Just make sure your body doesn’t become dependent on the treatment.

Tea can create a calmer but more alert state of mind. Studies have shown that the amino acid L-theanine found in the tea plant alters the attention networks in the brain and can have demonstrable effects on the brain waves. More simply, tea can help you relax and concentrate more fully on tasks.

Tea lowers the chance of having cognitive impairment. Research on Japanese adults who consumed at least 2 cups of Green Tea daily found that those individuals had cut their risk of cognitive impairment by half.

Tea lowers stress hormone levels. Black tea has been shown to reduce the effects of a stressful event. Participants in a study experienced a 20% drop in cortisol, a stress hormone, after drinking 4 cups of tea daily for one month.

Tea eases irritability, headaches, nervous tension and insomnia. Red Tea also known as rooibos, is an herbal tea that originated in Africa. It has been show to have many relaxing effects that help reduce a wide range of irritations and inflammations on the body.

Tea can cause a temporary increase in short term memory. Not feeling on your game today? Try drinking some tea. The caffeine it contains may give you the boost you need to improve your memory, at least for a few hours

So guys…know you what to have and what are the impactsssss it has on you……… Any Tea Company sponsoring my Blog…I am open…Come on guys i have give so much GYAN to people on Tea and this will be Boosting you sales….you need to do it…

Motivation is the driving force which causes us to achieve goals…… This is what Wikipedia says…. We all come¬†across¬†this word many times and use this ample times… Now we will talk more about what are all the different types of motivation and what are the factors make people get motivated…….. a very good topic to look at…

Motivation is the process or the way to inspire people to work, it can be ¬†individually or in groups in the ways such as to produce best and optimum results. It is the will to act in the most and possibly the best way… It is the willingness to exert high levels of effort towards organizational goals, conditioned by the efforts and ability to satisfy some individual need…through various means…Motivation is getting somebody to do something because they want to do it and have to do it.

The types of motivation:

Self-Enhancement Motivation

Self-Enhancement motivation is a individual or team believing the task at hand will increase their character, advent or monetary condition and these self-improvements are vastly desirable to them, this will encounter significant motivation to perform even unpleasant parts of the process necessary to reach the goal.

Achievement Motivation

As the name suggest…It is the drive to pursue and attain goals . An individual or a team ¬†with this attitude wishes and always want to achieve objectives and advance up on the ladder of success. Here, accomplishment is important for its own self..not for any rewards

Affiliation Motivation

This is a way drive and relate to people on a very personal and make them attach to the work . Persons with affiliation motivation perform work better when they are complimented for their favorable attitudes and co-operation.

Competence Motivation

It is the drive to be good at something, allowing the individual or a team to perform high quality work. Competence motivated people seek job mastery, take pride in developing and using their problem-solving skills and strive to be creative when confronted with obstacles. They learn from their experience and use their experience to learn more

Power Motivation

It is the drive to influence people and change situations. Power motivated people wish to create an impact on their organization and are willing to take risks to do so.

Attitude Motivation

Attitude motivation is how people think and feel. It is their self confidence, their belief in themselves, their attitude to life. It is how they feel about the future and how they react to the past.

Incentive Motivation

Here is where a person or a team works hard and gets a reward from an activity. It is ‚ÄúYou do this and you get that‚ÄĚ, attitude. It is the types of awards and prizes that drive people to work a little harder.

Fear Motivation

Fear motivation makes a person to act against will. It is instantaneous and gets the job done quickly. It is helpful in the short run…but not in long term…

Hope you all like this….if you feel that i need to do research and write more..do give me your¬†valuable¬†comments and¬†feedbacks….plz note..this work is not entirely mine..

The reason why i was so angry that people are not¬†remembering Netaji is that, yesterday at the only our PM and the leader of¬†Opposition¬†and 3 or 5 MP’s were present to pay homage to Netaji’s Picture in¬†parliament¬†hall………..that means all our so called Member Of Parliment’s are very busy….or they have forgotten……Can the Congress leaders dare to forget Indira Gandhi’s or Rajiv Gandhi’s Birthday, or thier respective Party leaders……….I have atmost respect for Indira Gandhi and Rajive Gandhi…i am just mentioning…….

Lets hope that these MP’s were busy doing something for public…or God Knows what made these MP’s Busy….

Yesterday was Subhash Chandra Bose’s or whom we call NETAJI’s¬†114th Birth Anniversary……How many people do know this, i will not ask how many people do know who is Netaji….We dont even bother to think about the Greats…. If he was Ex PM or EX CM then there would have been much fanfare on this Birth Anniverasry….or If he would have been a Caste Leader, then it would have been widely celebrated…..But he is not any of the above….He was a Person Who’s single Goal was to Free India from British and who founded INA..or AZAD¬†HIND FAUJ…..So he is not remembered, properly….

Let me write what all i¬†know and what all i gathered about the GREATEST HERO of INDIA…Shri NETAJI¬†SUBHASH¬†CHANDRA¬†BOSE….

Born on 23rd Jan 1897 in Cuttak, Orrisa, Born to Shri Janakinath¬†Bose and Prabhavati Devi¬† and born¬†¬†in a very rich and very influential family. His father was a very famous Lawyer, Netaji was 9th among 14 children, he had 7 brothers and 6 sisters. Netaji¬† was a brilliant student right¬† topped the matriculation examination of Calcutta province and graduated with a First Class in Philosophy (BA)¬†from the Scottish Churches College in Calcutta. He was strongly influenced by Swami Vivekananda’s teachings and was known for his patriotic zeal as a student….where he even hit (Not hit…he litterally Thrashed) a teacher…who¬†made racist remarks against Indian students…….he was¬†debarred from college for this…….¬†Went to England in 1919 to compete for Indian Civil Services, where he topped¬†4th in that….¬† netajai¬†left his Civil Services midway to return to India in 1921 after jailinwala¬†bagh incident and his zeal for Indian Independence, pulled him back to india.

He was closely working with Shri Chittaranjan Das, who was a big leader and who was one of the founding members of Indian National Congress….he was very famous for his Organizational Skills and he motivated youth and labour…he became very prominent in congress…..

Netaji¬† was a revolutionary¬† leader with a strong sense of humanity¬†. He did not have much faith in Gandhijis ‚Äėnon-violent‚Äô campaign to free India from¬† an¬† oppressive and colonial power. He had the strong understanding¬† that¬† the colonial British power must be challenged¬† by a strong patriotic Indian liberation army to hasten¬† independence. British¬† perceived Netaji¬† as a potential source of danger and had him arrested many a times since 1924. He¬† was¬† released from Mandalay jail in 1927,and upon¬† return to Calcutta,¬† Netaji was elected President of the Bengal Congress Committee on October 27, 1927.¬†….

He traveled Europe..met mayleader….and aksed their help for Indian Independence…He was elected President of Indian¬†National Congress at thee Haripura¬†Session in 1938. During his term as Congress President, he talked of planning in concrete terms, and set up a National planning Committee in October that year. At the end of his first term, the presidential election to the Tripuri¬†Congress session took place early 1939. Netaji’s actions¬†and ideologies were¬†termed¬†‚Äėfar too leftist‚Äô by Gandhiji¬†and all the biggies of Congress…….Despite opposition from the Congress brass,¬†Netaji was a favorite amongst the majority as he was re-elected for a second term in March 1939… defeating Dr. Pattabhi¬†Sitaramayya¬†who had been backed by Mahatma Gandhi and the Congress Working Committee……….Gandhiji considered Netaji’s victory as his ‚Äėpersonal defeat‚Äô and went on a fast . Netaji resigned as¬† a mark of respect to Gandhiji.¬†And then formed the Forward Bloc in 1939…..

Netaji, started a mass movement against utilizing Indian resources and men for the¬†war. ….people started responding in big way…There was a tremendous response to his call and he was put under house arrest in Calcutta…..and from here he escaped to Peshawar and from there to Afghanistan and from there went to Germany….he met Hitler and submitted a memorandum to the German government on 9th April 1941 which outlined a plan for co-operation between the Axis powers and India…..finally germany agreed to help Netaji…..he went on the princple..ENEMY”S ENEMY IS FRIEND…..

Bose married his¬†Austrian¬†secretary¬†Emilie Schenkl¬† in 1937. Their only daughter,¬†Anita Bose Pfaff¬†born in 1942, is an economist¬†…

In July 1943, he arrived in Singapore from Germany. In Singapore he took over the reins of the Indian Independence Movement in East Asia from Rash Behari Bose and organised the Azad¬†Hind Fauj (Indian National Army) comprising mainly of Indian prisoners of war……It had 85,000¬†regular troops, including a separate women’s unit, the Rani of Jhansi Regiment (named after Rani Lakshmi Bai) headed by Capt.¬†Lakshmi Swaminathan, which is seen as a first of its kind in Asia. He was hailed as Netaji¬†by the Army as well as by the Indian civilian population in East Asia. Azad¬†Hind Fauj¬†proceeded towards India to liberate it from British rule. Enroute¬†it lliberated¬†Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The I.N.A. Head quarters was shifted to Rangoon in January 1944. Azad¬†Hind Fauj¬†crossed the Burma Border, and stood on Indian soil on March 18 ,1944…………He stood…but after japan surrendering, INA had lost the backing and later all the solider surrendered………..

Bose’s most famous quote was “Give me blood, and I shall give you freedom!” In this, he urged the people of India to join him in his fight against the British Raj. Spoken in Hindi, Bose’s words are highly evocative….apart from that his other famous quote was “Chalo Delhi”

Netaji is alleged to have died in a plane crash Taihoku (Taipei), Taiwan, on 18 August 1945 while en route to Tokyo . The Japanese plane he was travelling on had engine trouble and when it crashed Bose was badly burned, dying in a local hospital four hours later.
